Parametric excitation of relativistic plasma oscillations by strong electromagnetic waves
Description
Parametric interaction of strong waves (f=eE0/msub(e)Cω0 approximately 1) with a cold, two-fluid (ion and electron) plasma is studied in the limits of high frequency (ω0>>ωsub(Le)) and resonance (ω0 approximately ωsub(Le)). Unstable oscillations of both electrons and ions are found in the resonance limit. (Auth.)
