Pitting Corrosion in Dragon Reactor Graphites. Dragon Project Report

Description

This type of corrosion is catalysed by metals present in the graphite as immunities. Two methods of removing these metallic impurities from the graphite are discussed, further contamination of the graphite, in the core of the Dragon Reactor, could occur. Localised corrosion, from the use of metal load thermocouples is also considered. (author)
