Application of two-dimensional circuits of the finite element method to calculation of a system of toroidal magnetic field coils in a tokamak
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kharkov. Inst. Problem Mashinostroeniya
Description
A stressed state of the arch part of the skewed coil system of the toroidal magnetic tokamak field is studied, the coils having a wedge support. Circuits of finite elements method - axisymmetrical and plane ones with a pescribed axial deformation - have been used for calculations. Results obtained with the circuits suggested showed their correlation. The account of mutual action of ponderomotive forces and the temperature field may reveal disturbances in the coil system. Solution of the contact problem for both circuits gives close results for the coil opening zone
