High spin states in 128Ba

Description
High spin states of 128Ba have been investigated by means of the OSIRIS γ-spectrometer with 6 asymmetric anti-compton shields and one additional germanium detector. The 110Pd(22Ne, 4n) reaction was used at 96 MeV. Several new high spin states and a new band have been established. The onset of the ph211/2 nh211/2 4 quasiparticle band has possibly been found.
