Nuclear facilities situation in Japan after the major earthquake of March 11, 2011. March 21, 2011, 3:00 PM status

Description

This situation note is established according to the information gained on March 21, 2011, at 3:00 PM, by the crisis centre of the French institute of radiation protection and nuclear safety (IRSN). The situation of all 6 reactors of the Fukushima I site (Dai-ichi) and of their spent fuel pools, as well as the situation of the reactors No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Fukushima II site (Daini), and of the Onagawa and Tokai power plants is briefly presented with the progress of the accident management actions.
