Description

In the present study we have measured the excitation function for the nuclear reaction natMo(α, x)97Ru in the energy range 11-32 MeV. We have used the K-130 cyclotron and stacked foil activation techniques followed by the offline gamma-ray spectroscopy technique to produce the 97Ru medical radioisotope. The excitation functions are compared with the available experimental data from EXFOR data library and the theoretical prediction from TALYS nuclear reaction code. (author)
