Description
Particle track reconstruction capabilities of the silicon tracking detector system have been studied. As the multiple Coulomb scattering (MCS) induces unavoidable uncertainties on the coordinate measurement, the corresponding error estimates and the associated correlations have been used to find the best track fit parameters and their errors. Finally it permits to find the proper particle characteristics, as vertex position and resolution, flight direction and the error. (Author) 4 Figs., 4 Tabs., 7 Refs
