Extraction of rare-earth nitrates by phosphoryl podands

Description
Interphase distribution of trace amounts of La, Ce, Pr, Nd Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu and Y nitrates between aqueous solutions of H4NO3 and solutions of phosphoryl-containing podands in organic solvents is studied. Phosphoryl-containing podands was synthesized, experiments on extraction of rare earth (RE) nitrates were conducted, content of RE in initial and equilibrium aqueous solutions was analyzed by ICP-MS. Stoichiometry of extracted complexes is determined, effect of structure of extractant and nature of organic solvent on the efficiency of extraction of RE in organic phase are consideration. It is shown that substitution of alkylene chain in alkylene-diphosphine dioxide molecules on polyester fragment leads to rise of the efficiency of extraction of RE from nitrate solutions
Abstract (Russian)
Изучено межфазное распределение микроколичеств нитратов La, Ce, Pr, Nd Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu и Y между водными растворами H4NO3 и растворами фосфорилсодержащих подандов в органических растворителях. Проведен синтез фосфорилсодержащих подандов, проведены опыты по экстракции нитратов редкоземельных элементов (РЗЭ), содержание РЗЭ в исходных и равновесных водных растворах определяли масс-спектральным методом (ICP-MS). Определена стехиометрия экстрагируемых комплексов, рассмотрено влияние строения экстрагента и природы органического растворителя на эффективность извлечения РЗЭ в органическую фазу. Показано, что замена алкиленовой цепочки в молекулах диоксидов алкилендифосфинов на полиэфирный фрагмент приводит к повышению эффективности экстракции РЗЭ из нитратных растворовAdditional details
