Design of Capsule Transfer Tool for Pneumatic Rabbit System at the RSG-GAS Reactor

One of the point interest in development of reactor utilization is design of pneumatic capsule transfer in rabbit after irradiation in RSG-GAS Reactor. The auxiliary tool of pneumatic capsule transfer in rabbit is needed after irradiation to accelerate the transfer of post irradiation capsules to the enumerator. To achieve these goal is by doing the design. The design of tool based on the practicality and applicability of the capsule transfer. Practicality aspect involves determining the shape and size of the components that can fulfill its function. Applicability aspects meant that the simplicity of the shape size and size have an impact on the convenience to the operator in handling post irradiation capsule. The design of the tool consists of two parts, namely the isotope component that connects the cell isotopes to the enumerator. Material component parts in isotope cell is used materials by Aluminium. The connecting parts the isotope cell to the counter using fiber hose. With the completion of the design will be expected to produce the tool, that it can optimize the use of pneumatic rabbit system.
