Monitoring and dosimetry of the biomed beam at SIN
Description
Since end of 1974 a pion beam is available at SIN for irradiation of biological samples. A description of the equipment to monitor the beam and for measuring the dose at the point of interest is given. The methods used are ionization chambers, one of them tissue-equivalent, and scintillators. The processing of the data is done analog and for the scanning of the field by PDP 11/20. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
