Description

In the present work, the M X-ray relative intensity ratios, IMk / IMn (exp) (k = γ, m1, αβ; n = αβ, total), for 70Yb induced by the C5+ ions having energies in the range 1000-1500 keV have been measured. The present measurements were performed with the C5+ ions accelerated using the Low Energy Ion Beam Facility (LEIBF) at the Inter University Accelerator Center (IUAC), New Delhi, India. In the present measurements, 70Yb targets having thickness ∼ 40 μg/cm2 prepared by vacuum evaporation on a 10 μg/cm2 thick carbon backing have been used
