Microprocessor-based interfacing of synchrotron equipment

Description
An attempt has been made to integrate the devices for synchrotron-specific interfacing into a standard microprocessor system. The synchronization and timing mechanisms of the control system have been concentrated into the interface level. Special care has been taken that no modifications of the standard microprocessor system and its operating system are needed. (orig.)
