Rapid and sensitive method for the determination of aluminium in 99Mo-sup(99m)Tc generator eluates

Description
Aluminium in eluates of sup(99m)Tc generators can be determined spectrophotometrically or compared visually with a standard solution to determine whether the aluminium content is greater than, equal to, or less than a specified concentration. Eriochrome cyanine R and hexadecylpiridium chloride are used to develop the colour in an ethylenediamine buffered system at pH 7.3. (author)
