Description
By means of modification of the extended homoclinic test approach (mEHTA), we obtain some new exact soliton solutions for the (2+1)-dimensional Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur (AKNS) equation by obtaining a bilinear closed form for it. (general)
