Description
In the recent, infrared(IR) thermography has been particularly useful tool for its rapid scanning and the diagnosis of defect for damage states in tunnels compared to the local point-by-point detection. This paper aims at the detection for the relevant infrared thermography in the concrete with internal and external defects as a non-destructive and non-contact technique. There are various defects in an internal tunnel, like leakage, crack, spatting, efflorescence and scaling and so on. In a concrete tunnel, The defection and sound part differentiate in the temperature, so using the infrared thermography, the defections of tunnel are inspected easily. Because the thermal conductivities differ the defection parts from another parts each other, it can detect in the infrared thermography. On the local spot, it accompanied with a spatial and temporal restriction. Therefore, by scanning the concrete lining with a movable infrared camera, the inspection can be efficiently applicable.
