The narrow 70-100 MeV proton beams for eye tumours irradiation

Description

The narrow 70-100 MeV proton beams for eye tumours treatment are delivered at the phasotron of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems, JINR. The main characteristics of these beams are measured for energies 70, 85 and 100 MeV. The depth dose distributions with a spread-out-Bragg-peak are formed. The dose rates of these beams provide the treatment duration less than one minute. (author). 4 refs., 6 figs., 1 tab
