Moessbauer spectroscopic study of giant magneto-impedance effect in Fe-based nanocrystalline films

Description
The Moessbauer spectroscopy and other methods have been used to study giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect of the FeCuNbSiB films following different temperature's annealing. From as-deposited state to the sample annealed at 570 degree C, the magnetic moments of the films were orientated from the initial direction that was parallel to the film plane to the direction perpendicular to it, and later back. The GMI effect of the films varied with soft magnetic properties and magnetic moment's orientation. When the orientation of moments was perpendicular to the film plane, the GMI ratio was decreased dramatically. (authors)
