On the problem of potential by differential scattering cross sections
Description
Suggested are the approximate methods of restoring the spherically-symmetrical potential using differential cross sections, taken in the total range of scattering angles 0 <= THETA <= π at fixed energy. Scattering cross sections are determined as the scattering amplitude module squares, the phase shifts being calculated in the first approximation of the WKB generalized method. Up to 500 partial waves turned out to be necessary to take into account. The calculation results are presented. The method described permits to specify the potential curve, obtained by relating to a comparatively rough basic curve using an iterative method. With this purpose the potential, obtained or close to it, can be used as a new modelling potential function
