Simultaneous determination of content of functional groups, hydroxide and borate ions in the AV-17x8 anion exchange material
Description
A method is suggested of simultaneous determination of adsorbed bron in contents of borate and polyborate anions, OH- ions, strongy and wealkly basic amino grpoups aretotal amounts of amino groUps in the AV-17x8 apion exchanger. The method is based on substitution of chloride ions for OH-, borate and polyborate anions (by contact with 5-10% KCl soluton or 5-10% KCl+0.1NHCl solution) and determination of KCl or nonreacted excess HCl and H3BO3 in the obtained solution
