A possible new segment of the Magellanic Stream in the northern sky
Description
A new high-velocity neutral hydrogen feature has been discovered at RA = 02h 30m, Dec. + 9°.5 (l = 160°, b = −46°) at a velocity of −334 km s−1 relative to the lsr. Its properties are similar to those of the adjacent parts of the Magellanic Stream and we suggest that this new feature is part of the same phenomenon.
