Improvements in installations for the combined generation of electrical energy and thermal energy
Description
Description is given of an installation for the combined production of electrical energy and thermal energy, comprising a steam-generator adapted to feed a turbo-alternator simultaneously with a heat-using plant. That installation is characterized in that it comprises a heat-accumulator capable of storing, as desired, heat coming from the basic thermal source and of giving back, as desired, the heat thus stored, the circuit for giving back heat being so arranged that said heat be delivered, at least partly, to the plant heat-distribution network. This can be applied to providing a sea-water de-salting plant fed by a nuclear boiler with a make-up heating

On decrit une installation mixte de production d'energie electrique et d'energie thermique comprenant un generateur de vapeur qui alimente simultanement un turboalternateur et une usine utilisatrice de chaleur. Cette installation est caracterisee en ce qu'elle comporte un accumulateur de chaleur capable de stocker, a la demande, de la chaleur en provenance de la source thermique de base, et de restituer, a la demande, la chaleur stockee, le circuit de restitution de la chaleur stockee etant agence de telle sorte que la chaleur soit deversee, au moins en partie, sur le reseau de distribution de chaleur de l'usine.
