Recent results from BESII and the status of BEPCII/BESIII project

Recent results from BESII are reported, which include the observation of Y(2175) in φf0(980) mass spectrum in J/ψ→ηφf0(980) with f0(980)→π+π-, the partial wave analysis of J/ψ→γφφ, the measurement of J/ψ→ωKK-bar π, φKK-bar π and the measurement of ψ(2S) radiative decays. The status of BEPCII/BESIII project is also presented
