Research on transfer processes of radionuclide in environments and methods for evaluation of food contamination level

Description
Since Fukushima accident, more and more concern is expressed for prediction of radionuclide transfer in environments. Based on researches on transfer processes of radionuclide in environments and application of transfer models, contamination levels of food and water after accident can be evaluated, and it is critical for the determination of the ingestion emergency planning zone for Nuclear Power Plants. In Chinese standard GB 18871, general action level for food has been determined, which comprises general food, milk, infants' food and drinking water. This paper is devoted to compare stable model with semi-dynamic model. Calculations have been made based on these two different models, which lead to a preliminary evaluation on their application prospects, and provide a technical support for the determination of NPPs' ingestion emergency planning zone in future.
