Interactions in the systems of sulfenyl chloride-lithium perchlorate

Using the method of IR spectroscopy it has been ascertained that in the systems sulphenyl chloride-lithium perchlorate metal cation is coordinated not with nucleophilic part of sulphenyl chloride but with its electrophilic fragment. Coordination by lithium cation of electron-donor centres of sulphenyl chloride derivatives is also confirmed by the results of quantum-chemical calculations
