Dependence of semibrittleness temperature on the structural steel strength level
Creators
Description
Results of investigation of several structural steels (35KhN3MFA, 40Kh and others) for the purpose of determining dependence of semibrittleness temperature on steel strength level during high tempering are given. It is shown that the definite temperature of high tempering and appropriate strength level, providing the minimum semibrittleness temperature, exist for structural steel. The investigation rejects the opinion about the need in all cases of increasing intensity of high tempering for decreasing semibrittleness temperature of steel. The investigation enables to obtain the significant lenefit through decreasing intensity of the tempering of forged pieces
