Connection between the behaviour of electromagnetic form factors in the Bjorken limit and singularities of the Fourier transforms on the light cone
Description
One-to-one correspondence between asymptotic behaviour of electromagnetic formfactors in the Bjorken limit and singularities of their Fourier transforms in the neighbourhood of the light cone is established. The Bjorken limit for the electromagnetic formfactor F tilde (q) is treated in the sense of the ''asymptotics with respect to translations'': F tilde (q+tn) with n2=0 at t → infinity which is correct for distributions from S'(R4) used in quantum field theory. Connection between different definitions of the Bjorken limit is established
