The ternary system gadolinium-copper-boron

Description
Phase equilibria in the system gadolinium-copper-boron at 600 deg C (alloys containing up to 0.33 at.% gadolinium) and at 400 deg C (alloys containing more than 0.33 at.% gadolinium) have been found by X-ray diffraction analysis. No ternary compounds have been observed in the system gadolinium-copper-boron. The GdB4 tetraboride is in equilibrium with copper and with all binary compounds of the gadolinium-copper system
