Description

A review is made of the use of relativistic nuclear models in the description of the quasi-elastic scattering of electrons from nuclei. The main attractive features of the formalism as well as its weaknesses are pointed out both in the Fermi-gas and in finite nuclei. Coulomb sum rules are also discussed
