  • 1. Tashkentskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)

Description

The interaction of vanadium (5) and synthesized reagent on quinoline base - 1-(2-quinolyl-azo)-m-aminophenol (QAP) is studied. Vanadium (5) forms with QAP in acid medium dark-crimson complex with maximum light absorption at 565 nm. Optimum value of pH-3.0, ratio VO2+:QAP=1:2, determination sensitivity 0.0038 μg/ml per 0.001 of light absorption unit. Complex stability constant 5.8x1020. The structure of the forming complex is suggested. The method for vanadium photometric determination in water solutions without its preseparation is developed
