Flights of fancy for general relativity
Creators
Description
The paper concerns general relativity and the experiments to test its predictions. Experiments to test directly Einstein's relativistic field equations using a spinning gyroscope in orbit around the earth, are discussed. The American space station, and space telescope to probe the depths of the cosmos, are briefly described. (U.K.)
