The value of X-ray examination and ultrasound in urological complications in transplanted kidney

Description
Urine extravasation, kidney obstruction and reflux after renal transplantation were analyzed. Routine ultrasonography, 60 cystographies and 15 pyelographies were performed on 56 renal transplant patients. Urine extravasation in 7 cases, kidney obstruction in 11 cases and reflux to the graft and/or native kidneys in 30 cases were observed. Routine ultrasonography was evaluated as helpful and radiological investigation as accurate method in these complications recognition. (author)
