Intraconfigurational absorption and magnetic circular dichroism spectra of Re4+ in Cs2ZrCl6 and Cs2ZrBr6
Description
The complete near infrared intraconfigurational t32sub(g) absorption and MCD spectra of Re4+ in Cs2ZrBr6 and Cs2ZrCl6 at liquid helium temperature are measured and assigned. Previous assignments of luminescence spectra are confirmed and the resulting energy levels are discussed in terms of a ligand field model. (orig.)
