Ultrasonic examination of mesenteric arteries of persons engaged in Chernobyl accident recovery

Description

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading pathology among liquidators, i.e. persons engaged in Chernobyl accident recovery, after 10 years of this event. The atherosclerosis of the mesenterial arteries is one of the first signs of the total atherosclerosis. 203 Male patient aged 35-65 were examined using the ultrasonic technique and apparatus Apgee RX-400. various circulatory disorders were found in 20.7% of cases. Some preliminary conclusions were made about the advisability of using organic nitrated for preventive therapy at the first signs of the blood-flow disorders
