Pre-operational and start-up testing of nuclear power plants
Description
The general requirements for and regulatory control of the nuclear power plant pre-operational and start-up testing are specified in the guide. The pre-operational and start-up testing aims to demonstrate that the plant has been constructed and operates according to the design intent. In Finland the Finnish Centre for Radiation and Nuclear Safety controls the pre-operational and start-up testing of the nuclear power plants. For applicable parts the guide is also observed in the regulatory control of pre-operational and start-up testing of other nuclear facilities. (7 refs.)
