Description
The most significant result of this study concerns the possibility of detecting artificial planar defects oriented in the perpendicular direction to the surface. By the so-called ''Pulse-echo'' method whatever the codes applied CPFC, ASME, ADPH (RFA) and transducers type used, the detection levels of the largest reflectors (phi 10mm) are well below the respective notation thresholds
