Information about environmental effects of Bohunice NPPs V-1 and V-2 within October 2004

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V-1 and V-2 NPPs are presented. The radioactive effluents within a October 2004 (for NPP V-1 and NPP V-2, respectively) were: 0.822 TBq and 0.737 TBq of rare gases, 7.872 MBq and 0.469 MBq of aero-soles, 124.815 MBq and 0.119 MBq of iodine, 3.220 MBq and 1.386 MBq of corrosive and fission products, and 1408.528 GBq and 0.085 GBq of tritium. For the period January - October 2004 these radioactive effluents represent for rare gases 30.103 TBq for NPP V-1 and 8.022 TBq for NPP V-2 (38.125 TBq (0.953% of annually limit (AL) for the locality Bohunice)), for aerosols 117.450 MBq for NPP V-1 and 13.723 MBq for NPP V-2 (131.173 MBq (0.082% of AL for the locality Bohunice)), for corrosive and fission products 30.471 MBq for NPP V-1 and 32.261 MBq for NPP V-2 (62.733 MBq (0.165% of AL) for the locality Bohunice)), and for iodine 3666.105 MBq for NPP V-1 and 1.570 MBq for NPP V-2 (3662.675 MBq (2.817% of AL) for the locality Bohunice)), and for tritium it is 6.617 TBq for NPP V-1 and 4.838 TBq for NPP V-2 (11.455 TBq (26.214% of AL) for the locality Bohunice)
