Numerical solution of the time-dependent Schroedinger equation with Coulomb interactions
Description
We survey a number of problems in atomic physics which reduce to the solution of the time-dependent Schroedinger equation is two or three dimensions. Direct numerical techniques are discussed in two stages, the construction of propagators and discretization in space. Under the latter heading, finite element methods are emphasized
