Influence of transition elements of 5 and 6 groups on quenched zirconium structure
Description
The structure of quenched zirconium alloys with transition metals of the 5th and 6th groups of the periodic system with the doping element content which does not exceed 1 at % is studied by X-ray diffraction analysis and translucent electron microscopy methods. It is shown that the doping element type affects the width of α'-phase region with lath morphology and lath thickness in a package. Evaluation of relative position of martensitic transformation initiation temperature in the alloys investigated is made
