Description

Samples of POLYBUTADIENE were irradiated with gamma rays from a 60Co sources, in time intervals to 20 days. Stress - Strain experiments were performed using a standard machine for physic tests. The results showedan irradiation induced hardening of the material. (author)

Abstract (Portuguese)

Amostras de POLIBUTADIENO foram irradiadas com raios gama, provenientes de uma fonte cobalto-60, durante intervalos de tempo de ate 20 dias. Testes de Tensao-Deformacao, efetuadas numa maquina universal de ensaios fisicos, revelaram um encruamento do material induzido pela irradiacao. (autor)
