Investigation into niobium and tantalum multinuclear compounds in hydrochloric-acid solutions

Description
Possibility of application of kinetic methods to study the processes of niobium and tantalum polymerization in hydrochloric acid solutions is shown. Dependence of catalytic reaction rate on niobium(5) and tantalum(5) ion concentration at different acidity is studied and polymerization range n for niobium(5) and tantalum(5) ions in hydrochloric acid solution at their different acidity is determined. It is found that niobium(5) ions in hydrochloric acid solutions are more inclined to formation of multinuclear compounds as compared to tantalum(5) ions
