Licensing under the Atomic Energy Act

The preliminary outline design approval granted for a planned nuclear installation, which is the legal basis for coming licences issued under the Atomic Energy Act, is in the further course of the licensing procedure concretized within the scope of content of the subsequent partial licences, and is thus transformed into a new, specified and up-to-date licence abreast with the state-of-the-art in science and technology, loosing its preliminary nature and step by step gaining enforceable applicability under the law. Third parties claiming to be affected by the first partial licence and having filed objections against the preliminary outline design approval, are entitled to commence legal action against the first partial licence.
