Water Power Resources of the Rivers in Abkhazia

Description

The research data of water-power resources of the rivers in Abkhazia are considered. Specific energy per unit of the catchment basin area is determined. The equation for calculation of the theoretical power is obtained. This allows the power for any required sector of the river in Abkhazia to be determined with precision up to 35%. Calculation of the power by mentioned equation may be used in prospective work to the first approximation. (author)
