Lenalidomide in the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma
Description
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) represents one of the less common malignant lymphomas. It is characterized by repeated relapses and it's treatment is a challenge for onco hematologists. Lenalidomide is a representative of immunomodulatory drugs with antineoplastic effect also potentially useful for the MCL therapy. This article summarize the facts about its efficacy and toxicity in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma as well as the current and perspective position in the treatment strategy of MCL.
