Description

A facility for X-ray free electron laser (XFEL) is now under construction and will be completed at the end of fiscal year 2008. The machine part of the facility consists of an accelerator building and an undulator building, and its total length is 640m. The facility was designed for achieving high stability. We report that the fundamental structure, the concrete frame, and the air-conditioning method, etc. of the facility. (author)
