Systematic of 21+, 02+, 22+, 41+ and 31- states in even-even nuclei

  • 1. Strasbourg-1 Univ., 67 (France). Centre de Recherches Nucleaires

Description

A compilation of even-even nuclei from 8<= A <=256 having Jsup(π) = 21+ as first excited state, and 02+, 22+, 41+ or 31- as second excited states is presented and the systematic of their energy pattern investigated. The ratio of the reduced transition probabilities b(E2; 22 → 21)/b(E2; 21→01), b(E2; 22→01)/b(E2; 21→01), b(E2; 22 → 21)/b(E2; 22 → 01) and b(E2; 31 → 21)/b(E2; 31 → 22) as well as the asymmetry parameter γ are computed from the Davydov-Filippov model for 74<= A <=254. Estimates of the b(E2) ratios are compared with a few experimental values and calculations from other theoretical models. Data are from the most recent available literature
