Physical chemistry and material technology of binary semiconductor compounds of elements of 2B and 5B subgroups

Description
Properties of binary semiconductor compounds of subgroups 2B and 5B have been analyzed. A principled possibility of ZnSbΛ2, ZnΛ3BiΛ2 ZnBiΛ2 and CdSbΛ2 synthesis and preparation of monocrystals of substances, dissociating incongruently is shown, using the method of vacuum sublimation. On the basis of the data of precise thermal analysis, methods and optimum regimes of growing CdAs monocrystals and its eutectics are selected. Thermoelectric properties of directedly crystallized eutectics CdSb+NiSb, CdAsΛ2+As, which are highly perspective as materials of anisotropic thermoelements, are studied
