The national standard GB 11806-2004 'Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material' has adopted technical contents of IAEA TS-R-1 1996 Edition (As Amended 2003). However, IAEA published its 2009 Edition in 2009. The paper briefly describes the changes of IAEA TS-R-1 (2009 Edition) relative to its 1996 Edition (As Amended 2003) and presents short comments for its some chapters. (author)
