Description
In this study, geophysical and geochemical methods were applied to obtain the subsurface geoelectrical structure for hydrogeological mapping at the Tuzla-Istanbul. The transient electromagnetic (TEM), very low frequency (VLF) electromagnetic and direct current (DC) resistivity methods were applied to characterize the lithology and geological structures as a function of the depth. The combined use of geophysical methods allowed for the development of a conceptual hydrogeological model of the investigation area with integration of geochemical data which is not Kown in detail previously
