Description
In order to study structural relaxation during annealing at 500 and 580 K in two amorphous alloys of nominal composition (Co/sub 26.2/Ni65Fe/sub 8.8/)/sub 0.78/B/sub 0.22/ and (Co/sub 78.4/Cr/sub 15.6/Fe6)/sub 0.78/B/sub 0.22/ the changes of the Curie point have been determined from temperature dependent magnetization measurements. The changes in Curie temperature as function of annealing time are shown. A striking difference can be seen between the two materials concerning the behaviour of the Curie point during the structural relaxation. The results have been discussed considering atomic rearrangements and magnetic moments of alloying elements
