Description
The atmosphere-controlled high temperature mass spectrometer has provided vapor pressure data for lithium-based oxide ceramics under condition of sweep gas introduction. From the experimental results of vapor pressures over Li4SiO4, LiAlO2, Li2TiO3 Li2ZrO3, and Li2O under hydrogen addition, the sum of the partial pressures of lithium containing species over each oxide was estimated. As far as the lithium loss is concerned, LiAlO2 is best, while Li2O is worst among these ceramic breeder materials. (authors)
